5 Things that you may have missed out in this week of WWE

It was another eventful week in the kayfabe world of the WWE as a lacklustre episode of RAW followed by a solid SmackDown show rounded up the month of November. With the final PPV of the year Clash of Champions coming up next, the blue brand had the bragging rights with a better showing.

RAW saw a steep drop in viewership ratings while their counterparts in blue enjoyed a positive rise in its figures. It wasn't the best of weeks but at the same the same time it wasn't the worst either.

Apart from the big moments that made the news all throughout the week, there were a few gems that missed the radar of the WWE Universe and we list them down in this slider:

#1 Change in Seth Rollins' theme

This could be a very unpopular move.

Seth Rollins isn't burning it down anymore. The three words that were added to the Architect's theme at the behest of Vince McMahon, who reportedly wasn't a big fan of the pause, was absent from his theme this week on RAW.

The former WWE Champion made his entrance while Roman Reigns was on his way backstage, and the three impactful words were mysteriously missing. We're not sure whether it was a technical botch or a permanent change but it's a letdown nonetheless.

The intro completed his theme and made it more catchy. It's a shame WWE dropped it. The displeasure amongst the fans was evident by the reactions on Twitter:

#2 The unaired confrontation between Kane and Finn Balor

An impromptu showdown between the two demons of the WWE took place on Raw this week as Finn Balor came out and challenged Kane to a match after Jason Jordan was deemed unfit to continue.

A face-off between the two mythical characters surprisingly got cut off as part of the commercial break. The fans at home had to join the dots as the WWE made no effort to replay the unaired segment.

Here is a video of it for those who missed it:

#3 The Usos and The New Day have started to get along

2017 has been the year of the resurgence of the tag team division and a majority of the credit go to the Usos and New Day. The teams have redefined tag team wrestling with their classic series of matches over the past few months.

The heated rivalry ended with The Usos coming out on top. When all was said and done, mutual respect prevailed between the two standout teams. The New Day took on Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable with the Tag Team Champions making their presence felt on commentary.

Big E, who sat this one out, was seen sharing a light-hearted moment with the twins when he offered them pancakes and they obliged.

#4 A historic title change

The former ROH stars mean business!

Look away if you don't want a spoiler. Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish successfully dethroned SAnitY to become the new NXT Tag Team Champions at the recent tapings.

The match was littered with countless interferences from Adam Cole, who managed to help his stablemates win their first titles in the WWE. Fish and O'Reilly are the only team in history to have won the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team, ROH World Tag Team and NXT Tag Team titles -- an incredible achievement by the ROH legends.

#5 Kurt Angle's heartfelt address after RAW went off the air

WWE never fails to satisfy the fans who come to watch RAW and SmackDown live. The fans in attendance are always given post-show treats that range from dark matches to personal interactions with the WWE Superstars, or in special cases, a non-kayfabe address by a fan favourite.

Kurt Angle came out after this week's episode of RAW and wished the fans on Thanksgiving. He expressed his gratitude towards their support and especially thanked the Shield for making his in-ring return a memorable experience.

Now that's how you send the fans home happy on Thanksgiving.
