Cena won the 2012 RAW MITB Ladder match, but lost when he cashed-in.

At the Money in the Bank 2012 pay per view, John Cena made history (again), when he became the latest man to be hailed as Mr. Money in the Bank. But a few days later, Cena would make history in the worst possible way, becoming the first man to cash-in the contract and lose.

Meeting WWE Champion CM Punk on RAW 1,000 in July, Cena hoped to add to his litany of world championships, at the expense of the Best in the World. That was until the Big Show arrived, costing Cena the match and the title due to a disqualification.

Since then, a small handful of Superstars have failed upon cashing-in, but Cena's name will always live on as the first to do so, an accolade nobody wants.
