WWE hosted matches on both RAW and SmackDown to determine who will compete in the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches next month.
However, Sonya Deville shocked the WWE Universe when she announced that Carmella would be part of the MITB ladder match without competing in a qualifying match.

Liv Morgan was unhappy with the decision and came out to attack Carmella. The two then competed in a match that resulted in a victory for Liv. Fans have been backing Liv for some time, but the superstar has not received a sustained push yet.
This week on SmackDown, Liv must challenge Carmella to a match, with her spot in the MITB ladder match on the line. Liv must use her words to force The Princess of Staten Island into accepting the match.
WWE must then allow Liv Morgan to defeat Carmella again and take her spot in the big match. She could end up being a favorite during the contest, and the WWE creative team needs to invest a little more in her. The angle will allow Liv’s progression to the MITB match to be more deserving for the superstar.
