Big E and Apollo Crews were seen as friends on WWE SmackDown, before things came crashing down after Big E won the Intercontinental Championship. Crews turned on Big E in the hunt for the title and has been more aggressive in recent weeks.

After interfering in the match between Big E and Shinsuke Nakamura a couple of weeks ago, Crews viciously attacked Big E last week. Crews took down the Intercontinental Champion with steel steps and left him knocked out in the process.

Crews has continued to show his new villainous side on SmackDown, and WWE must build on it this week. Big E must come out and offer Crews a final shot at his title, stating that he is sick of the former United States Champion.

WWE must ensure that Big E makes it clear that this will be Crews’ last chance to win the title from him and that he won’t get any more shots at the title after that.

Crews must then come out once again and attack the Intercontinental Champion before accepting the challenge. The angle will allow Crews to get more heat and hype up the big match between Big E and the newly heel Superstar.
