Will WWE build towards some big rivalries this week?

#1 AJ Styles meets The Original Bro

Last week on WWE SmackDown, AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan competed for the Intercontinental Championship in the finals of the tournament. The two men put on one of the best matches of the year for WWE SmackDown and gave the fans more than what they expected from these two men.

Now that Styles is the new Intercontinental Champion and plays an excellent heel character, he has the power in his hands to give the mid-card babyfaces some good matches and a major rub.

Last week, another announcement that WWE SmackDown made was that Matt Riddle would be making an appearance on the Blue brand this week. While Riddle could come out to cut a promo before being interrupted by a heel on SmackDown, WWE must allow Riddle to interrupt Styles asking him to step up or stop running his mouth.

Matt Riddle needs a big rivalry to kick off on WWE SmackDown

This would allow Styles to immediately get a challenger for his new title while The Original Bro will get into a big rivalry straight away and get in the WWE Universe’s radar.

Riddle had a great time in NXT where he competed for all the men’s titles there, and he should get a push on the Blue brand right away.
