#4 Drew McIntyre must ruin Bobby Lashley’s Championship opportunity on WWE RAW
Drew McIntyre defied all odds to retain his WWE Championship inside the Elimination Chamber. McIntyre fought off five former WWE Champions to prove his worth once again, but Bobby Lashley wasn’t too happy with his loss earlier in the night.
Lashley emerged to attack McIntyre and dismantle him after he retained his title. The Miz took advantage of the situation to cash in his Money in the Bank contract and defeated McIntyre to win the WWE Championship.
On the episode of WWE RAW that followed, Lashley interrupted Miz’s celebration and reminded him that he only won the title after McIntyre was already weakened. Lashley demanded a WWE Championship opportunity, and he will get his shot at the title this week.
While Lashley is the favorite to win the title, the company must allow McIntyre to return on WWE RAW this week and Claymore Kick Lashley, just when he’s charging to deliver a Spear to Miz to win the title.
The angle will help Miz retain his title for longer, and also bring The Scottish Warrior back into the WWE Championship picture. WWE can then book a Triple Threat Match between Lashley, McIntyre, and Miz to build up towards a big WrestleMania match.
