While The Velveteen Dream’s rivalry with KUSHIDA may not be over yet, he seems to have upset a former WWE NXT Champion in recent weeks. During a match between KUSHIDA and Tommaso Ciampa on NXT, Dream appeared to attack the Japanese Superstar. However, he missed his target and ended up hitting Ciampa instead, which also led the match to end in a disqualification.

While Dream will be looking to somehow get the better of KUSHIDA on NXT, Ciampa will be looking for revenge as he wouldn’t be too happy with Dream hitting him during the match.

WWE NXT already teased The Blackheart’s intentions last week, and he could attack Dream either backstage or during a match this week. Dream and KUSHIDA have been going at it for a while now and the addition of Ciampa will only make it that much more intense. WWE could end up giving us the first chapter of this rivalry as early as NXT Halloween Havoc.

The eventual winner from the rivalry could even go on to challenge for either the NXT North American Championship or the NXT Championship.
