Santos Escobar had a good match against Curt Stallion on WWE NXT last week. While Escobar’s victory was impressive, it was Scarlett’s presence during the match that was more interesting.

After Escobar won the match to retain his NXT Cruiserweight Championship, he celebrated with Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde by his side. However, the celebrations were short-lived as Karrion Kross arrived and laid waste to Mendoza and Wilde before threatening Escobar and giving him the gift of time.

Kross has been targeting Escobar after the NXT Cruiserweight Champion made some remarks regarding the former NXT Champion. WWE must work on this storyline this week and book a match between Kross and the team of Wilde and Mendoza.

WWE must allow Kross to completely dominate Legado del Fantasma during the match and trapping both men in the Kross Jacket to pick up the victory. After the match, Kross must challenge Escobar to a non-title match at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day.

This will help Kross have his first meaningful match since his return and also allow him to make an impact. It will also give Kross a chance to move closer to the NXT Championship picture once again.
