Sheamus and Riddle are set to do battle for the United States Championship at WWE WrestleMania 37. Riddle won the title from Bobby Lashley after competing in a Triple Threat Match involving John Morrison at Elimination Chamber 2021.

Riddle’s reign hasn’t been impressive despite creative having tried to give him enough television time. Riddle has been seen in several backstage segments and has defended his title twice against Mustafa Ali.

On a recent episode of WWE RAW, Riddle was defeated by Sheamus after a decent contest. The two powerhouses are set to meet in the WrestleMania ring where The Celtic Warrior will have a chance to win the gold.

This is Sheamus’ biggest chance to win a singles title after falling out of the WWE Championship picture. Keeping that in mind, WWE must allow The Celtic Warrior to overpower Riddle and win the United States Championship convincingly.

Sheamus has been great on RAW since getting into a rivalry with Drew McIntyre, and he could do better with the United States Championship compared to Riddle. Reports have suggested that Riddle wasn’t the favorite to win the title but an injury to Keith Lee forced WWE to change their plans.
