The Shield has been well established as one of the most dominant factions in the history of the WWE. Ever since debuting at WWE Survivor Series 2012, the trio of Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns have been on a path of destruction and unparalleled success.

While the three men have seen it all and done it all as individuals, there are still a few things for them to accomplish as a team. After all, Rollins' betrayal in 2014 led to a premature dissolution. But, with the band back together now, there is a good chance that they can accomplish at least one of these things.

So, without any further ado, here is our list of things The Shield is yet to accomplish in the WWE:

#5) Have a World Champion as a member

It seems absolutely absurd, but The Shield has never had a member as a World Champion. All three men - Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns - have been World Champions in the WWE, but only when they weren't together as a group.

Reigns has won the belt three times, Rollins twice, and Dean Ambrose just once. This might be subject to change if their current reunion lasts for a significant amount of time

However, with Reigns seemingly heading towards dethroning The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 34, this seems like the most realistic option on this list.

#4) Have a member win the Royal Rumble

The Royal Rumble match is a place where factions can shine. We have seen multiple times over the years where a group takes over the match and dominates for long stretches before one of the members picks up the win. This is something The Shield never managed to pull off.

While Roman Reigns did enjoy a superb Rumble in 2014 as a part of the group, he did not win the match until the group had already disbanded.

#3) Have an entire team of Grand Slam Champions

A Grand Slam Championship is a pretty special achievement in the WWE as it signifies someone who has won the WWE Championship/Universal Championship as well as the Tag Team Championship, the Intercontinental Championship and the United States Championship.

Dean Ambrose had the honour of becoming the first member of The Shield to become a Grand Slam Champion when won the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships along with Seth Rollins earlier this year.

Rollins and Roman Reigns are both missing an Intercontinental Championship in order to join The Lunatic Fringe on that list.

#2) Having all three members survive in a traditional Survivor Series match

Survivor Series holds a special significance to The Shield as it was here that they originally made their debut. They have only performed in one traditional 5 vs 5 Survivor Series match, though, and that was in 2013.

Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns teamed with Cesaro and Jack Swagger against the team of Rey Mysterio, The Usos, and The Rhodes Brothers. It was a record night for Reigns as he was the sole survivor with a whopping four eliminations.

But, the other two members of the group did not get to enjoy the same level of success.

#1) Hold all the belts

One of the greatest moments for a faction comes when they hold all the gold available. We all remember when Evolution controlled all the championships during their dominating run in the noughties. But, it was never the same with The Shield.

While Dean Ambrose enjoyed a record-breaking run as WWE United States Champion and Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns captured tag team gold, the Intercontinental Championship and the World Championship always eluded their grasp when they were together.
