#4 Finn Balor continues to be completely directionless

The Miztourage beat up Finn Balor before his match with Axel
Continuing the trend, WWE is going to stick with the plan of not really doing much while waiting to start the build in earnest to the Royal Rumble. Finn Balor is just going to be another guy in the Rumble match come January anyway, so what is there to do with him? I mean, I could come up with plenty of ideas, none of which have anything to do with him wrestling Miz’ lackeys, but that’s beside the point. Now that they are likely to make the Universal Title match into a triple threat, why not have Finn challenge the three monsters and make it a four-way? He still has never received his rematch for the title, and he has a score to settle with Kane.
In any event, that won’t happen, and nothing important involving him will happen either. He’ll probably end up wrestling Curt Hawkins, or maybe both Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas in a handicap match.
I got my first big break writing for 411Mania back in 2004. I did a small spot in a big weekly piece that was written by one of the site's top writers. I quickly added the duty of being the live recapper for episodes of SmackDown, and in 2005 was given my own weekly column, which I did for a few years. I gave up writing (mostly) to start a family but got back into it, still at 411, a little over 3 years later. For another couple of years, I wrote 2-3 columns per week for the website before finding paid work elsewhere, and eventually wound up at SportsKeeda.
I am also the co-founder of the RBR: Weekly Wrestling Talk podcast, which started in the summer of 2005 and is still going strong today, almost 15 years later. Due to school, work, and family commitments, I left the team in 2011 but still remain a part of the family.
