When Kofi Kingston was the WWE Champion, he took on all comers from Dolph Ziggler to Randy Orton, defeating them in some very thrilling battles indeed. This is something that has been lost ever since Brock Lesnar picked up the Championship and only chooses to show up only on very select occasions.
If Ricochet does become the WWE Champion, he could defend his title against people who wouldn't otherwise get a title shot like Angel Garza and even the likes of Rowan. Because Ricochet is someone who is around every single week, the possibilities would indeed be limitless.
Breaking Vince Russo and Jim Cornette update HERE.
In fact, he could also take on promising babyfaces such as Humberto Carillo and Aleister Black in thrilling matches on RAW television, something that a lot of WWE's critics say is missing from the current WWE product of today, unless you consider the NXT brand. Ricochet can perform phenomenal feats of athleticism in the ring and can actually elevate the in-ring product every week, and even connect with the younger crowd as the new WWE Champion.
