If WWE wants to continue on with this trend of putting babyfaces in unwinnable situations, why not put Finn Balor and Elias in a three on two handicap match against Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley? At least this way, WWE builds sympathy for the babyfaces, makes the heels look strong and furthers this idea of The Authority's control.

What it also does however is set the stage for another superstar to come to Balor and Elias' aid when all hope is lost, which is a great way to set up the next part of the storyline. Unfortunately for Balor and Elias, they are still going to have to take a massive beating here to help catch the fans off guard until the someone comes to their aid.
In the end, WWE needs to make it look exactly like last week when Elias and Balor got beaten up handed to them, which will help in making fans feel like all hope is lost. If The company is successful in doing this, the person that comes to their aid will receive a big pop and it will boost ratings heading into the go home show before TLC.
