WWE NXT hasn’t had a TakeOver event since February where Johnny Gargano turned on Tommaso Ciampa to deny him the chance to defeat Adam Cole for the NXT Championship at TakeOver: Portland.

Fans have been waiting patiently for the current global pandemic to get over so that they can fill in arenas once again and support their favorite WWE Superstars in the biggest matches of the industry.

Last week, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and Road Dogg made a surprise announcement that NXT is coming back with a TakeOver event in June titled TakeOver: In Your House. The same night, a few interesting happenings created some new rivalries that can unfold at the event.

One major rivalry that we want to watch is the one between The Prince of NXT, Finn Balor, and the Archer of Infamy, Damian Priest. Priest attacked Balor during and after his match against Cameron Grimes last week and revealed that he was the man who took down The Prince a few weeks ago.

Balor must appear this week to call out Priest, laying down a challenge for the first match at TakeOver: In Your House. WWE is hungry for some top matches at the moment, and this one could be one of the best mid-card matches possible.

Balor has been one of WWE’s top stars and he has taken down everyone in his path including Matt Riddle, Johnny Gargano, and Imperium.

WWE will be looking to book Matt Riddle vs Timothy Thatcher and Karrion Kross vs Tommaso Ciampa for the TakeOver event, so they should lead with this one.
