These events could really spice up Elimination Chamber

Every year, WWE Superstars are immortalized when they perform at the Holy Grail of professional wrestling- WrestleMania. However, the road to WrestleMania is not paved with roses. Instead, it is surrounded by steel. This weekend, numerous men and women will battle it out inside the Elimination Chamber, at an event with massive WrestleMania implications.

There is much that could go wrong at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. We have 5 suggestions that could ensure that not only will the pay-per-view remain a memorable affair, but the months following it could be quite eventful indeed. We will list them in this article.

Of course, we welcome your suggestions in the comments. We know that you may not necessarily agree with our assessment, and would love to hear what you think instead.

Without further ado, here are 5 of those suggestions...

#5 Seth Rollins should have an impressive showing

Seth Rollins should not lose the momentum he's garnered on RAW
Rollins should not lose the momentum he's garnered on RAW

Seth Rollins finally looks like a legitimate superstar after the strong showing he had on RAW, this past week in the gauntlet match. WWE must realize that they have managed to rehabilitate a superstar who had fallen down the ranks, and he needs to continue his momentum all the way to the Elimination Chamber.

Even though it is almost certain that Roman Reigns will emerge victorious at Elimination Chamber, Rollins needs to have a strong showcase on the big stage. He needs to look like someone who had a real chance of winning the match, instead of a body that was thrown in for someone else to eliminate.

After the showing on RAW, we think that the crowd may even be behind Rollins to win the whole thing. WWE should book him strongly from a long term perspective as well, considering that he's supposed to be Roman Reigns' opponent after WrestleMania is done.

After all, a champion is only as interesting as his opponents are in the world of professional wrestling.

#4 Asuka's streak should not be broken

It's far too early to end the streak
It's far too early to end the streak

Asuka has has a dominant run in WWE, thus far. Right from her first NXT match to her main roster run, she simply hasn't been beaten. Nia Jax seems like a worthy competitor to end the streak down the line, but in our opinion, she should not end the streak at Elimination Chamber. Asuka should go over Nia Jax clean.

The longer the streak lasts, the more it will mean for the person that eventually does break it. Whether it is Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair or Nia Jax herself that finally makes Asuka taste the mat, the streak-breaker will benefit immensely from the big win. Elimination Chamber is also not an important enough pay-per-view for the streak to be broken.

In fact, Asuka should make short work of Nia Jax, we think. This will make her look even more unstoppable heading into her big WrestleMania match, with whoever does win the Elimination Chamber match.

#3 Ronda Rousey should turn on Stephanie McMahon

It shouldn't be a simple contract signing segment
It shouldn't be a simple contract signing segment

Ronda Rousey has proved, time and again, that actions speak louder than words. Especially considering that her promo skills aren't the best!

We think that Rousey shaking hands with Stephanie McMahon, after went down at WrestleMania 31, was a mistake. We think she should put McMahon in an armbar instead, during the contract signing.

We do know that contract signings in WWE aren't usually peaceful. However, the sight of Stephanie McMahon tapping out on camera, thanks to a submission move from Ronda Rousey could garner media attention from across the world.

Something of this nature needs to happen, to get the audience excited about WrestleMania 34.

#2 Alexa Bliss should retain her Championship

Nobody else in the Chamber match has the momentum to go to WrestleMania
The despicable heel should lose her title only on the grandest stage of all

Alexa Bliss has been the RAW Women's Champion for the better part of 2017. It would not make sense to have her lose the title at the Elimination Chamber. It would make more sense for her to carry the Championship to WrestleMania. She should drop her title at WrestleMania, where Asuka could be crowned as the next face of RAW's Women's Division.

Bliss has been portrayed as a coward thus far. A strong showing at the Elimination Chamber could have her looking as a legitimate competitor for Asuka or Nia Jax. Plus, can any of the other women really have a singles match against Asuka at WrestleMania?

Banks and Bayley have lost too much momentum, and so has Mickie James. And as for Absolution, Deville and Rose are far too green.

#1 Sasha Banks and Bayley should come to blows

One of them really needs to turn!
One of them really needs to turn!

It's often said that God helps those that help themselves. Sasha Banks and Bayley can help each other, because only they can bring out the best in one another inside the wrestling ring. And for this to happen, one of them must turn. And then these two women can have a rivalry for the ages.

Common sense suggests that it should be Sasha Banks. After all, she's played a heel before and done so quite well. However, we wouldn't mind Bayley tapping into her dark side either, quite honestly.

The thing is, Sasha's heel turn was supposed to take place last year. They were teasing it and teasing it, even after WrestleMania 33. However, Alexa Bliss moved over to RAW and instantly became Queen Bee, seemingly cancelling plans for Sasha's heel turn until later on.

Whatever the case may be, Sasha Banks and Bayley could light up the women's division. In the process, they could help elevate each other rise from the mid-card.

One of the women going heel would also freshen up the RAW Women's Division.
