#2 Brock Lesnar destroys The New Day and Rey Mysterio

Mysterio will look to exact revenge sooner than later

Brock Lesnar is set to compete in his first match on SmackDown after decades, and The Beast won’t just feature in an ordinary match. Instead, he has challenged the WWE Champion Kofi Kingston to a championship match which could well see Kofi’s dream run which began at WrestleMania 35 come to an end.

With such a high-profile match set up for this week’s season premiere, there’s little that could go wrong on the Blue Brand.

Rey Mysterio felt the wrath of Lesnar this week without any rhyme or reason, and The Beast not only dismantled the masked Superstar but ended up breaking his son in half too. His actions brought more heat on him that anything else could have, and fans are expecting Mysterio to interfere in Lesnar’s championship match to exact some revenge.

Even though there is a chance of Mysterio interrupting the match and helping Kofi retain the title, possibly through a disqualification, we must remember that Lesnar is known as The Beast for a reason.

If the company does go down that path, then they must allow Lesnar to break all hell loose and destroy all three members of The New Day, similar to what he did during The Beast in the East, and Rey Mysterio.

This could draw even more heat towards the unforgiving Superstar and allow him a chance to challenge for the title once again, this time at Crown Jewel.
