5 things that should not happen at TLC

The H
The Hounds Of Justice are back

TLC will be an action-packed night of matches from the RAW brand. Even though it might be odd only one match on the card is currently booked with a gimmick stipulation, it's still a TLC pay-per-view.

WWE has a lot of choices that they can make and in the end, they need to do what's best for business. The goal is to provide an exciting show with plenty of surprises. But we can only hope it makes sense in the end.

That being said, here at five things WWE needs to stay away from when booking this TLC event.

#1 Kurt Angle looks weak

Kurt Angle
Kurt Angle is a WWE veteran but he might not be able to replicate his magic

Kurt Angle's return to the WWE ring after eleven years away from WWE action is a shocking turn of events but it needs to be handled carefully. The Olympic Hero must be able to come in and look strong enough to still run.

There needs to be a point in the match where the Minneapolis crowd chants "you've still got it" because Angle will still have it. Before he left Impact Wrestling The Olympic Hero was putting out quality work and showed no signs of slowing down.

Now that he's been medically cleared hopefully, this means more action from Angle is on the way. But it needs to be kicked off at TLC and they need to do right by the WWE Hall Of Famer.

#2 Asuka loses

The
The Empress Of Tomorrow is coming

Asuka might be one of the most devastating forces ever to step into a WWE ring. If you add the fact that Asuka is also insanely popular then you've got the recipe for a great run in WWE. But it needs to start off on the right track.

Asuka has never lost a match in WWE (if you don't count a battle royal elimination). Her reign as NXT Women's Champion was so amazing that they decided to have her vacate the title instead of having her lose it.

The Empress Of Tomorrow will debut at TLC and face Emma in her first outing on the main roster. It's very important that WWE establishes her as the powerful competitor she can be. But there are a few ways WWE could use her on Raw.

However, it all needs to kick off the right way at TLC and her loss really shouldn't be one of the stunts that WWWE decides to pull off at the last moment.

#3 Alexa Bliss drops her title

Little Mi
Little Miss Bliss could be the future of WWE

Mickie James is an amazing entertainer and she deserves the respect she's due. But Alexa Bliss is arguably the future of WWE's Women's Division and she's just getting started.

The veteran James and Alexa Bliss have had a pretty entertaining program leading to TLC where the Raw Women's Champion accentuated Mickie James' age. But through it all, the Raw Women's Division needs a heel champion to push the babyfaces along.

Natalya recently got a great reward for all of her hard work on SmackDown Live, so there's always the possibility of both brands being represented by a veteran female champion. Therefore, if Mickie James does pull off a victory it would still be a pretty cool moment, but she's likely a placeholder before a much bigger show like Survivor Series.

If Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss is the feud WWE wants for the future, Jax's recent leave of absence might have thrown a monkey wrench into the plans. But all in all, Raw would probably be in better hands with Bliss leaving TLC as champion.

#4 Don't give Enzo Amore the microphone

h
The Realest Guy In The Room needs to just wrestle a match

This one might be a fruitless request because keeping a microphone out of Enzo Amore's hands is like asking a fish not to swim. But wouldn't it be nice to see him come out and wrestle a match?

If WWE plans on building the Cruiserweight Division around Enzo Amore, it might be a nice change of pace for him to come out without his custom microphone ready to do battle in Minneapolis.

Enzo Amore has more wrestling ability than he's really been given the platform to demonstrate because his microphone skills are obviously superior. However, if Enzo Amore is going to pick up 205 Live's top title at TLC then it might be a wise move for Amore to prove he has what it takes in the ring.

#5 AJ Styles vs Finn Balor ends badly

AJ Styles and Finn Balor
This match's bad end will bring a huge disappointment for fans

Fans have been waiting to see these two former heads of the Bullet Club collide since they wound up being employed by the same company. In all reality, it's rather shocking it took so long to make it happen in the first place.

Owing to a "viral infection", this dream match is taking place with a little-to-no build as well as absolutely no storyline on television. The only real story to build this match happened somewhere other than rather than WWE.

Reports are WWE is going to give Styles vs Balor time to build to a crescendo and really make the match matter. Hopefully, it will end in clean fashion unless WWE plans to carry on this WrestleMania-worthy rivalry into a much larger program like it deserves.

But if this is just a featured match with no plan on jumping anyone across brand lines to fight again another day this contest needs to end clean. Any kind of shenanigans would dampen the iconic nature of this match. After all, fans have been booking this one in their heads for a long time so WWE needs to do right by them.

Long story short, Styles vs Balor needs to be taken as a serious contest between two guys with a history that have ironically never met in the ring. It should not be seen only as an impromptu booking decision to fill a hole on the card.
