#1 Cena’s frustration gets the best of him

John Cena’s latest WWE run can be labelled as his worst, as his wins in big matches are lessen, he is failing to capitalize on new opportunities and his sole goal to make it on the Wrestlemania 34 card seemed unattainable.
However, one white-hot promo later and Cena has now received a match at "The Show of Shows" against a man he was told wouldn't be able to face him, that man is The Undertaker. Cena clearly insulted The Undertaker like no other superstar has ever dared to offend "The Phenom" in his 30-year career.
However, WWE needed to explain why a man such as John Cena whose core value is respect would disrespect such an important wrestling icon such as The Undertaker. And that could’ve been accomplished at Fastlane 2018.
Cena's heart-breaking loss at Fastlane 2018 was pegged as his last opportunity to make it on the Wrestlemania match card, and instead of Cena walking away disappointed, he should’ve shown a side of his frustration he has been bottling up for many months now.
That frustration which was full of disappointing losses, pent-up aggression and the inability to perform as the athlete he once was, should’ve pushed him to destroy AJ Styles after the match, instead of raising his hand in victory.
While some may label that as a heel turn, that is actually Cena at his breaking point, as Styles struck off the last secure possibility from his Wrestlemania plans. And it would’ve temporarily set up Cena as the heel in his feud with The Undertaker, as no one is going to boo "The Phenom" in this stage of his career.
Therefore, WWE could've carried Cena’s frustration into his shocking promo on The Undertaker, as he is now a man with nothing to lose.
