Jeff Hardy is not one to shy away from competition and if he is given an opponent, he will put on a memorable match. Hardy has been on a losing streak since Backlash. He lost to The Miz three weeks back and to Daniel Bryan last week. His run as the US Champion is definitely in need of resurrection.

Hardy's absence from SmackDown this week not only hurt his credibility but also makes the US Title seem irrelevant. With his counterpart on the Red Brand, Seth Rollins, defending the IC title every week, Jeff Hardy seems to be slacking.
It is high time that the WWE build the US Title and make Hardy a fighting champion. There are many legitimate contenders for the US Title like Tye Dillinger, Almas or any member of Sanity.

Even though RAW hasn't confirmed an IC Title match for MITB, Seth Rollins has done an amazing job of making the IC Title matches a must watch on the show. SmackDown needs to pull its socks up and make 'The Charismatic Enigma' a fighting champion.

Kishan Prasad
Kishan is a WWE writer at Sportskeeda Wrestling and has been associated with the division for 8.5 years. Even though he doesn't work at Sportskeeda on a full-time basis, writing about wrestling keeps his passion for the sport alive. He reports on important updates from wrestlers and rumors from trustworthy sources.
Kishan recalls the best match he witnessed when he was just 6 – the Hell in a Cell Match at Armageddon 2000. Watching the six men push each other to their limits and then some made him realize how incredible pro wrestling is.
He graduated as a Chemical Engineer a few years before he began his journey with Sportskeeda. A couple of years as a non-contracted writer for the website became a full-time opportunity that included managing the pro wrestling division.
Kishan's favorite wrestler is Triple H, as he can pull him into any storyline. In today's era, one can call him a Seth "Freakin" Rollins fan for the same reason. When he is not writing for Sportskeeda, Kishan works as a digital marketing professional.
