#2 A segment with Roman Reigns

Fans have been asking for The Rock vs Roman Reigns for years now. However, as we previously said, The Rock couldn’t wrestle due to his busy schedule.
His return to SmackDown, by no means, guarantees that he’ll come to confront Reigns and challenge him for a match (although it's possible). However, there’s a possibility that The Rock can have a segment with his cousin brother, Roman Reigns.
The Big Dog is currently feuding with Erick Rowan and Luke Harper. If you know, The Rock’s last match happened against Rowan, and their rivalry never ended. Assuming Reigns (and Daniel Bryan) will confront Rowan and Harper during SmackDown, an attack on them seems likely. Enter The Rock. He could come to Reigns’ aid and save the day for him and the WWE Universe.
#1 The Rock calls CM Punk

Next SmackDown is going to happen at the Staples Center and fans know what happened last time The Rock was here. It was a dark segment, where The Rock had come to promote Paige’s biography, Fighting with my Family. He then called CM Punk as a way to entertain the crowd but the Straight Edge Superstar didn’t pick it.
The Straight Edge Superstar recently spoke to KROQ and he said this:
“I enjoy The Rock, I do. And I’m not trying to put this out… gee, hopefully, people don’t do this, but do you remember the last time The Rock was in the Staples Center?”
“Let’s do it again. When is this show, next Friday? Dwayne, call me Friday.”
Punk is asking The Rock to call him this Friday and while we know that this probably won’t happen in WWE, there’s a chance.
He reportedly gave an audition for WWE’s upcoming show, WWE Backstage, and he’s likely to get an offer from the company. If this rumor is true, then WWE shouldn’t have any major problems with The Rock giving a call to CM Punk on October 4th.
