A genuine reason why Dean Ambrose was unhappy with his heel run more likely depended on the way he was booked by the WWE creative.

The Lunatic Fringe has justified his prowess as a menacing heel on the independent circuits before he shined as the leading member of The Shield on a weekly basis.

Considering that he never got the due that he deserved, returning back with a Shield of his own could be compelling in shaping the rest of the WrestleMania season in 2020.

His relationship with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns is indeed very historic as well as emotional and could work very well if the former WWE Champion returns with a menacing faction of his own.

This could also be a legitimate way to bring someone from NXT like CM Punk wanted back in 2012 and form an unstoppable faction with Dean Ambrose as the man in-charge.

I definitely believe Dean's work as a heel in the WWE deserved some more time. If he was provided with the right creative direction, he would have ran riot on Monday Night Raw.

A faction like The Forgotten Sons could match very well with Dean Ambrose and could go on to deliver some classics with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.
