Vince McMahon told Seth Rollins to ditch the Curb Stomp
Back when Seth Rollins turned on The Shield, he became a vicious heel. He won a string of matches using his devastating finisher, Curb Stomp. Fans might remember that Rollins used the finisher on Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 31 to win the WWE World Heavyweight title. Soon after, fans noticed that Rollins wasn't using the finisher anymore, and it was replaced with the Pedigree, a move popularized by Triple H. Rollins later explained how Vince McMahon told him to stop using the move, as he felt that it wasn't a good representation of what he wanted his top Superstar to do.

And I'm wearing the title and then he sees this package of me stomping another man's head into the ground and it being called The Curbstomp on national television. And he thought to himself, 'well, that's not a good representation of what I want my top guy to do.'

Seth Rollins didn't use the move for a long time following Vince McMahon's orders but later managed to convince the WWE Chairman to start using it again. He used the move effectively at WrestleMania 35, to defeat Brock Lesnar for the Universal title.
