5 things we want, and 5 we don't want to see at Wrestlemania 35

Can these things happen?
Can these things happen?

Royal Rumble is in a week, and the event will start the Road to Wrestlemania which will see a lot of matches and events that shall happen before the show comes to your TV sets and on the WWE Network.

With a host of things happening in the WWE and the wrestling world in general, a lot of things shall change, and we shall see some of the most anticipated and grueling matches at the Shows of Shows.

Wrestling fans will be hoping for some things to happen at the show, while some of them shouldn't happen at all, and in this article, I look at the things that should and shouldn't happen at the 'Grandest Stage of them all':

#1 Should Happen: Undertaker Retires

Thank You Taker
Thank You Taker

The Deadman has been in the business for over three decades and has done some of the craziest moves as well as set some records that shall be difficult to beat. The legend was undefeated at Wrestlemania until Brock Lesnar defeated him for the first time at Wrestlemania 30 and after that, the legend lost another match at the show to Roman Reigns. With another losing effort, the future Hall of Famer will lose his charm, and as he hasn't wrestled a lot of matches in the last year(s), it is better off if he invests his time in some other role within the WWE.

#1 Shouldn't Happen: Part Timers get main event time

No No No
No No No

Wrestlemania 33 saw two part-timers, Goldberg and Brock Lesnar get time in the main event or may I say on the main show whereas they didn't deserve the time offered to them. It would be better off if the company decides to leave them, and other part-timers away.

The company wouldn't want a dip in ratings due to bad booking.

#2 Should Happen: Cesaro Moves to Singles Competition

Superman!
Superman!

Cesaro has been a good competitor as part of the tag team with Sheamus but 'The Swiss Superman' needs to get a singles push as the wrestler has the skills to fight well in the ring, and his raw strength will be an asset to make him shine. The performer is part of some lame storylines and hasn't got a singles run, but with the New Era making waves within the WWE, we may see the wrestlers get their due credit.

He can be a part of some championship storyline like the U.S. Championship, to begin with on Smackdown and the Intercontinental Championship on Raw. After this, he can move to the Universal Championship storyline and challenge the new champion after the grand show.

#2 Shouldn't Happen: Worthy match moves to kick-off

Give them chance
Give them chance

The match between Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali at Wrestlemania 34 was considered a great one by fans and wrestling critics, and despite not getting the required time, these two put on one hell of a show. After the match, the fans were behind these two wrestlers and their show 205 Live because the entertainment that these two brought in the ring was unparalleled.

Their match also raised a point that relevant matches should get their place on the main show and not the kickoff. With Mustafa Ali already a part of the main roster, and making waves, we hope that he doesn't end up being on the kickoff show at Wrestlemania.

#3 Should Happen: Brock Lesnar versus Seth Rollins

Burn it down!
Burn it down!

It has been rumoured for long that WWE wants to have a match between The Beast Incarnate and The Architect at the shows of shows, and that is why it is a possibility that The Kingslayer will win the Royal Rumble match to take down The Beast at The Grandest Stage of them all.

This will be a match worth money, and no one would blink an eye if they step inside the ring for the coveted Universal Championship. While this also confirms that Finn Balor will lose his match at the Royal Rumble, but if the end of the match leads us to such a wonderful match, I am confident no one would mind 'The Demon King' losing the match next week on Sunday.

#3 Shouldn't Happen: Brock Lesnar Retains

Beast loses it on the grandest stage
Beast loses it on the grandest stage

The Beast Incarnate is a part-time wrestler and has hardly shown up for matches at the grandest shows. He has cost a lot of insult to the Universal Championship and the company as a whole which is looking for ways to keep the championship on The Biggest Box-Office Attraction.

While Brock Lesnar may have the charm, he is not loved by fans due to his nature to stay away from WWE and its tight schedule, and if the company wishes to make the Universal Championship relevant, they must make Brock Lesnar lose the title to a formidable opponent soon.

#4 Should Happen: Becky Lynch wins the Raw Women's Championship

Championship at stake
Championship at stake

Becky Lynch is indeed living up to her 'The Man' gimmick and not only are her promos in line with her new look, but her walk and her talk backstage are also in line with her new gimmick. She is the best thing there is in the women's division of the wrestling business right now, and it seems like she will keep moving up the ladder as Wrestlemania comes around.

With two months to go between Wrestlemania and Royal Rumble, there is a possibility that even Charlotte Flair will be added to the mix. It is a possibility that Becky will win the Rumble match and go on to Wrestlemania, but she must win at the grandest stage at all costs.

#4 Shouldn't happen: Asuka loses her match

The Empress has to keep it going
The Empress has to keep it going

Asuka had the undefeated streak until last year's Wrestlemania and then she lost to Charlotte Flair which was devastating for fans and her career in general. She was the most dominant force in the company and did regain her stature after winning the Smackdown Women's Championship during a triple threat match which also included Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.

After a character of this stature, it would be better off if she continues her streak and not lose the match at the grandest stage of them all for the second year in a row.

#5 Should Happen: EC3 wins the Intercontinental Championship

Win it Big!
Win it Big!

EC3 is a talented wrestler and has been called up to the main roster after his impeccable performance on the yellow brand. While he hasn't fought a match during the main show, it would be great to see him get into a storyline for the Intercontinental Championship with Bobby Lashley.

The two are all built up, and if they decide to lock horns at The Shows of Shows, we may be in for some great in-ring action that will be the talk of the town and will keep the Social Media buzzing.

#5 Shouldn't happen: Alexa Bliss isn't in action

No Goddess, No Show
No Goddess, No Show

Alexa Bliss has been out of action for a long time, but it seems like she may be returning back inside the ring soon. Her segment 'A Moment of Bliss' could set the tone for a storyline, and going by how she can sell and hype a feud we may see her fight it out at the Grandest Stage of them all.

After all, there can't be a show without a goddess!
