#3 WWE TV Authority Figure

Was one of the best General Managers ever

Paul Heyman managed several superstars on WWE TV from 2002 - 2003, including the Big Show, Kurt Angle, Charlie Hass and Shelton Benjamin, and of course, Brock Lesnar.

Paul was written off TV from March 2003 until the following October, and when he returned, he did so not as a manager, but as Stephanie McMahon's replacement as the new General Manager of Smackdown. Surprisingly, this didn't last long at just about 5 months, and returned to his former manager role. It was short, but very fun.

Paul Heyman returned to WWE TV after more than a year of absence in 2006, this time as the new General Manager for the brand. Again, it was short at 6 months this time, until his legitimate release from WWE, and again, short but very fun.

So now two times over, Paul has proven he can be a fantastic authority figure role for WWE on TV. Now as we speak, WWE has several authority figures on TV, with Commissionaires for RAW and Smackdown and General Managers also.

As both Stephanie and Shane McMahon's roles on TV have been very limited since WrestleMania, I don't think it would hurt to replace one of them (Stephanie) with Paul as he would be a far more entertaining figure in that role. And if not, maybe Kurt Angle could use a 50/50 co-General Manager to spice things up, maybe Paige could either.
