#2 Built Rusev at the expense of two top heels
Rusev had been missing from action for quite some time and was only brought back thanks to a bizarre storyline involving Maria and the father of her child. While it seems like the 'Maria and Rusev' storyline has thankfully been washed down the drain, the storyline between Lana and Bobby Lashley is here to stay.
Last week on RAW, Rusev took on Seth Rollins in the main event of the night in a Universal Championship match. During the final moments of the match, Bobby Lashley made his big return, only to be accompanied by Lana, who made out with The AllMighty at the top of the ramp.
Rusev has been known to be a jealous boyfriend/husband, and his reaction from last week did not match his character and onscreen personality. After the WWE Unvierse pointed out the several flaws in the storyline, it seems like WWE learned something from the fans and gave us the reaction Rusev is known for.
This week, Rusev tore through two of WWE's biggest heels, King Corbin and Randy Orton. At a time when Corbin and Orton were laughing at Rusev's misery, the Bulgarian Brute decided it was time for some payback and dismantled both the men even before his scheduled match against Orton could even begin.
This was the right step to take, especially considering the fact that WWE is building a rivalry between Rusev and one of their strongest Superstars who was last seen in a feud with Braun Strowman.
