What does WWE have planned for Ronda Rousey versus Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 35

If the Royal Rumble pay per view and Raw were any indication of what WrestleMania season is going to be like, the WWE Universe is in for the ride of a lifetime! Beyond that, fans might also be in for one of the greatest WrestleMania's of all time and its hard not to get excited about it all!

Interestingly enough, WWE stirred the pot even more on Monday Night Raw this week and although some segments were hit or miss, a large portion of them were absolutely breathtaking. They also could be clues to what might happen in The WWE, which will be fun to follow as the weeks go on.

With that being said and the first Raw after Royal Rumble finally in the books, here are five things WWE hinted at during this week's edition of their flagship show.

As always, let us know what you think in the comments below and also be sure to tell us what you think the company has planned going forward.

#5 Finn Balor challenging for The IC Title

Finn Balor versus Bobby Lashley. Who wins?

It's probably not what everyone wanted. In fact, its a far cry from The Universal title picture that many WWE fans want Balor to be apart of at WrestleMania 35, but the company putting him in a feud with Bobby Lashley for The IC title is at least a step forward.

Furthermore, it is a chance for Balor to prove what he can do with one of the company's most prestigious title.

If nothing else, that seems to be WWE's plan after Bobby Lashley confronted Finn Balor on Raw this week and Balor could even end up getting the title sooner rater then later. Maybe it could even happen before the Elimination Chamber in February, which would be a great pop for ratings if done right!

#4 Dean Ambrose versus Triple H at WrestleMania 35

Triple H versus Dean Ambrose?

It's the WrestleMania match no one knew they wanted, but might just turn into a dream match after the interactions between The Game and The Lunatic Fringe on Raw. If nothing else, WWE has caught lightning in a bottle and whether it was intentional or not, they really need to act on it.

In fact, between the jaw-dropping barbs that were dropped by both men and the way the crowd seemed to get into whatever the two were saying, this match is truly WrestleMania worthy. Beyond that, it would be a great match for Ambrose and might even help him solidify his heel turn further.

In the end, it's probably not going to be as big as Rousey versus Lynch, Lesnar versus Rollins or even Bryan versus Cena, but its definitely one that would capitalize on the dream match mindset.

#3 Nia Jax in an intergender match

Will WWE put Nia Jax in an intergender match?

Believe it or not, WWE might be heading for another intergender match and that might not actually be a bad thing. While the formula was a complete failure in 2018 when WWE put James Ellsworth and Asuka against each other, Nia Jax is arguably the kind of superstar the company needs to pull this kind of match off.

Think about it! Nia Jax isn't like the other female superstars in her era. She is built bigger, stronger and can be much more devastating than most of her opponents put together. She is also more vicious, more cunning, and after her incident with Becky Lynch, much more disliked than any other female competitor.

If nothing else, this is the perfect combination for WWE to dip their foot into intergender wrestling again and there are a plethora of worthy opponents for Jax to face. Of course, some fans are going to think its a terrible idea and even say that its unrealistic or not politically correct, but Jax is the one person that could probably prove all of them wrong!

#2 Kurt Angle retiring At WrestleMania 35?

Will Baron Corbin retire Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 35?

Kurt Angle and Baron Corbin went on on one during the January 28th episode of Raw and while the Olympic gold medalist fought valiantly, he ultimately fell victim to a timely Deep Six and got pinned. Unfortunately for Angle, things only got worse after the match when he was nailed with an End of Days by Corbin to finish the job.

With that being said and WWE kind of having a swansong kind of theme to Kurt Angle's match, it seems like WWE might be heading for some kind of retirement angle. Of course who will be the lucky superstar to dethrone one of the most decorated veterans of all time remains to be seen, but there are a plethora of opportunities.

In the end, maybe WWE should do Baron Corbin vs. Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 35 and stipulate that if Angle loses he will have to retire. At least that way, Corbin can finally get a high profile spot at WrestleMania 35, Angle can put over a young superstar on his way out and it would be a perfect finale to their feud as well.

#1 Ronda Rousey turning heel

Is WWE about to turn Ronda Rousey heel?

Let's be honest here, as much as Becky Lynch versus Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women's championship is enough on its own to main event WrestleMania 35, the company still needs to add some spice to the mixture to make it perfect! Interestingly enough, it seems like the company started to insert that spice during Lynch and Rousey's encounter on Raw Monday Night.

With that being said, the crowd slowly turning on Ronda Rousey and her promos getting more and more heelish, it honestly feels like WWE is on the verge of turning her heel. Of course turning Lynch heel is another option the company can do, but it was completely rejected by fans the last time it happened.

All in all, WWE doesn't need to do much to turn Rousey heel, especially since the crowd has already pretty much made her the heel in the feud, but anything the company can do to amplify that will pay dividends in the end. What do you think? Is Rousey heading for a heel turn? Let us know in the comments below!
