5 things WWE must do at Fastlane

What does WWE have up their sleeve for The Fastlane pay per view?
What does WWE have up their sleeve for The Fastlane pay per view?

Its almost time for Fastlane.

While some in The WWE Universe might see this as the most boring pay per view on the calendar, especially since it seems like the company is spinning their wheels a bit, the outcomes could have huge impacts on The Road to WrestleMania 35. In fact, it can have a monumental impact on the event itself.

Not only is that evident by the ever unfolding nature of Becky Lynch versus Ronda Rousey versus Versus Charlotte Flair, but also by just how into Kofi Kingston versus Daniel Bryan The WWE Universe is right now. If nothing else, WWE has a lot to set up on the upcoming pay per views and its going to be interesting to see how it plays out

With that being said and Fastlane right around the coming right around the corner, here are five things WWE must do at The Fastlane pay per view. As always, let us know your thoughts in the comments below and also be sure to tell us what you think WWE needs to do at the pay per view

#5 Have Finn Balor retain the IC title

Let's be honest here.

Finn Balor's run with The Intercontinental title has't gotten off to the best of starts and that's exactly why he needs a quality win over Bobby Lashley at Fastlane. At least that way, Balor has momentum heading into WrestleMania 35 with momentum and WWE can hopefully align him with another opponent for the big show.

If nothing else, watching Balor lose again would extremely disappointing. It would also be a sign that WWE either doesn't know how to book Finn Balor cofidently or they don't care to. Either way, its going to be looking pretty bad for wrestling fans if Balor somehow loses at Fastlane.

#4 Finally have Shane McMahon turn on The Miz

Will Shane McMahon turn on The Miz at Fastlane?
Will Shane McMahon turn on The Miz at Fastlane?

In all honesty, it seems like this storyline has run its course. It also seems like WWE can't successfully get the fans behind The Miz as a babyface, which remains the company might have him be the one to turn on Shane McMahon. With that being said, the company needs to give this storyline the mercy kill it deserves at this point.

In fact, between the soaring interest in The Miz as a babyface and WWE apparently now considering other options to face Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35, it seems the right thing to do would be to end here. At least that way, Shane McMahon and The Miz are set up for WrestleMania 35, and WWE can find a new opponent for Bryan.

Of course, not everyone is going to be happy with that decision, especially with some fans legitimate enjoying The Miz as a face, but it seems to be the right thing to do when you consider The Miz's overall appeal. Beyond that, WWE has a lot of better options for the WWE title picture at WrestleMania 35 and should exercise them.

#3 Have Becky Lynch confront Vince McMahon

Imagine what could happen during a confrontation between Becky Lynch and Vince McMahon.
Imagine what could happen during a confrontation between Becky Lynch and Vince McMahon.

Becky Lynch is on the run of a lifetime right now and while there is always a chance of the storyline derailing, she continues to be the most interesting thing on television right now. Beyond that, her sudden feud with Vince McMahon is something that has the potential to bring fans back to The Attitude era days.

With that being said and WWE juggling some very combustible elements right now, why not let them explode at the upcoming Fastlane pay per view? Not only will putting Vince McMahon and Becky Lynch in a segment together allow for WWE to further the storyline at the pay per view, but it also lets fans see a once in a lifetime moment!

Think about it! Becky Lynch and Vince McMahon having a confrontation would have fans on their feet from beginning to end. It would also have fans waiting on bated breath to see if McMahon suffers the same slap that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon did, which would be pretty cool to see.

#2 Give Asuka her win back

Should Asuka get her win back against Mandy Rose?
Should Asuka get her
win
back against Mandy Rose?

WWE finally did something with Asuka after keeping her off television for three weeks, but it was arguably one of the worst things they could have done. Beyond that, Asuka's roll up loss to Mandy Rose severally damaged The Empress of Tomorrow's credibility and really derailed her title run.

With that being said, WWE needs to right their wrong at Fastlane and at least give Asuka her win back. Maybe WWE could even have Asuka win in a squash match, which would be a big statement for the struggling champion, but it doesn't seem like WWE wants to do that. In fact, it seems like WWE is more interested in promoting Mandy Rose.

In the end, WWE can keep Rose around the title picture if they want, but at least find a way to give Asuka her win back in the meantime. At least that will give her some momentum going into WrestleMania 35 and give the company some actual time to build Mandy Rose versus Asuka up properly.

#1 Rob Kofi Kingston Of The WWE Title

Should WWE make this controversial change to The WWE title picture?
Should WWE make this controversial change to The WWE title picture?

It's no secret that Kofi Kingston is the hottest thing in WWE right now and it would be absolutely crushing if he suffered a clean loss to Daniel Bryan at Fastlane next week. Beyond that, it would destroy the momentum WWE has carved out for Kofi Kingston over the last couple of weeks, which wouldn't bode well for him heading into WrestleMania 35.

Speaking of WrestleMania 35 and the momentum that WWE has already built for Kofi Kingston over the last couple of weeks, why not rob him out of the title and then give him another chance at WrestleMania 35? WWE could even add another superstar into the match, make it a triple threat contest and a have a variety of other booking options to explore.

Think about it! Kofi Kingston getting one more shot after getting robbed would be exactly what The WWE Universe wants to see! Furthermore, it gives Kofi Kingston a legitimate chance of coming out of WrestleMania 35 with The WWE title, which would be an amazing step in WWE history.

LMAO. Check out who just called Becky Lynch 'tiny' RIGHT HERE
