Its extremely unlikely that fans will see either Ronda Rousey or Becky Lynch take a loss at Survivor Series, and that's exactly why WWE needs to end this match in a no contest. Not only does it allow both superstars to finish the night without taking a key loss, it also helps set up the feud between Rousey and Jax, which could be the biggest feud on Raw heading into the winter months.

While some fans might be upset that they wouldn't have a decisive winner at the end of the match, it would all be worth it if Lynch didn't take a momentum-killing loss here. It also allows Becky Lynch to go around on Smackdown Live claiming she took Rousey to her limits, which is another good storyline to capitalize on going forward.

In the end, Rousey and Lynch need to be protected in this situation and that's exactly why a no contest is preferable in this situation. At least that way, WWE can focus on the athleticism and the storytelling of the match, instead of worrying about who is going to come out on top when all is said and done.
