5 things WWE must do on the go-home episode of Raw before TLC 2018 (9 December 2018)

Is Dean mocking Shield?
Is Dean mocking Shield?

WWE emanates its final Raw before TLC from Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, CA, and it is a definite possibility that the company will do everything in its power to hype the last pay-per-view of the year.

The company hasn't taken any major risks this year, but it seems like the last pay-per-view might see a drastic change in the way the company has projected itself throughout the year. We may see some storylines build up as the last show emanates next Sunday.

Whatever culminates next Sunday, shall be available for public viewing then, but for now, lets look at what the company will do on Monday night to build stories for this final co-branded pay-per-view of the year.

#1 Baron Corbin and Braun Strowman pick their representatives

Get these hands!
Get these hands!

Baron Corbin and Braun Strowman have been on a roll since the former was scheduled to face the latter at WWE TLC as per the orders of Stephanie McMahon.

The acting Raw GM took assist from his henchmen and caused Braun Strowman an injury that took the most dominant wrestler out of action. Although reports surfaced that Braun Strowman was backstage last week to check on his healing elbow, and a video tweet also confirmed that 'The Monster Among Men' is working on his muscles to face his adversary at WWE TLC.

Despite all the hype, what if Braun Strowman isn't able to heal in time, and the company decides that the two wrestlers will pick their respective representatives for this match?

An introduction of new performers wouldn't be a good idea, but it isn't bad either, considering the fact that they wouldn't be responsible for the loss, and can then pull this storyline into an individual one which could culminate at WrestleMania 35.

#2 Drew McIntyre and Finn Balor join the previous storyline

Will they become a part?
Will they become a part?

The two performers are great in the ring, and they have been on their own journeys over the last couple of weeks.

While Drew McIntyre is currently working as a henchman for Baron Corbin and is also the next in line for a major push, it wouldn't be a great idea to put him in someone else's storyline, but considering the fact that he would add value to the show, and also the Universal Championship down the line, he must be made a part of the Baron Corbin vs Braun Strowman storyline.

Finn Balor has had some issues with Baron Corbin and his henchmen, and just like Braun Strowman, he is also over with the fans. These two could fight for the respective wrestler's honour, and it would be great to see a match between these performers who had a great time outside of the WWE.

#3 Elias dominates Bobby Lashley before WWE TLC

Who wants to win with Elias?
Who wants to win with Elias?

Elias has been on a roll since being a member of the main roster. His gimmick has earned him a lot of appreciation from fans and wrestlers alike. During his time as a heel, he worked well, and now as a babyface, he is the most sought-after wrestler in the company.

Last week we saw Elias interrupt a photo session of Bobby Lashley, and this isn't the kind of a segment you would expect when you have two powerhouse performers involved. The company hasn't done much to hype this feud the way it should have.

With still an episode to go before the show on Sunday, the company could hype this feud up by making Bobby Lashley attack Elias backstage, or during his segment, so the fans are behind Elias. Then the feud could see some active participation from fans both during and after the show, and it would be worth investing time in during WWE TLC.

#4 Alexa Bliss may interfere at WWE TLC

Elevate The Goddess!
Elevate The Goddess!

Alexa Bliss was recently promoted to the position of being the head of the women's division, and since being in charge, she has elevated the division to a better level.

Over the weeks she has been involved in a feud with Sasha Banks and Bayley partially because she has helped her fellow friends Mickie James and Alicia Fox (along with Dana Brooke) take out 'The Boss and Hug Connection', but failed miserably.

After the turn of events from last week where Ronda Rousey confronted Alexa Bliss, it is a possibility that when 'Little Miss Bliss' hosts a pre WWE TLC press conference during this week's episode of Raw, she may show her affection and support to Nia Jax, and also give a stern warning to Ronda Rousey.

This mixed with an attack from Ruby Riott on Natalya would be compelling television.

#5 Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose hype the feud

Burn It Down!
Burn It Down!

You would agree with me that this is the hottest feud on Monday Night Raw right now, and whether you may think otherwise, it can't be denied that the duo have put on a great storyline since Roman Reigns announced his battle with leukemia.

The two are loved for their impeccable timing, and the fact that they were a part of The Shield also works in their favour. The two have been involved in great storylines together as part of the group, and are working the best storyline on Monday nights with ease.

With the recent heel approach from Dean Ambrose, and the amazing performance from Seth Rollins, this duo will work the best feud on this week's episode of Raw, and this Sunday at WWE TLC.

Is there something else we missed out? Sound off in the comments.
