WWE's final pay per view of 2018 will see superstars going extreme at TLC. The WWE title will be defended as Daniel Bryan grants AJ Styles a rematch, and The Phenomenal One would want to get some payback, while Brock Lesnar is not scheduled to defend the Universal title.

Braun Strowman is expected to face Baron Corbin, and this has turned into a high stakes affair, with Strowman recently undergoing elbow surgery. The officials expect him to be back in time for the event, although it's touch and go at this time.

If Strowman does make it to TLC, he will have to win against Corbin to get to Lesnar at the Royal Rumble, however Corbin will have to defeat The Monster if he wants to make the GM position his own on Raw.

TLC will also provide WWE the opportunity to prolong storylines that would culminate in a match at WrestleMania next year, and rumours are making the rounds that the match involving Ronda Rousey could headline the event, as WWE needs to do something memorable at the pay-per-view.

Here are the 5 things WWE need to do at TLC to make it a memorable event.

#5 Dean Ambrose as a new Intercontinental Champion

Dean Ambrose turning on Seth Rollins shocked the world not due to Ambrose betraying his brother in arms, but because it happened on the same night as Roman Reigns' emotional announcement. Since then Ambrose and Rollins have been going at each other's throats, with Dean showing his ruthless side.

Both stars will face each other at TLC for the Intercontinental title, and WWE needs to make the rivalry more interesting. They can do that by putting the title on The Lunatic Fringe. Ambrose could become one of the best heels in the business, provided WWE books him properly and gives him enough time to grow into his role.

WWE should ensure that they give the rivalry the time it needs to grow, and the company can shake things up by putting the IC title on Ambrose at TLC.

#4 Turn Asuka heel

Asuka was the most dominant force on NXT

Asuka came to the main roster as the most dominant female athlete in NXT history. The Japanese sensation never lost the NXT women's title, and had to relinquish the title because of an injury.

However, since coming to the main roster, Asuka has tapped out to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania, and she was then beaten by Carmella. She has since fallen down the pecking order, tapping out to other stars, and has lost all of her momentum. WWE can make her redeem herself by turning her heel at TLC.

Asuka was recently added to the SmackDown Women's Championship match, and will compete against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. While Asuka's addition could be to protect Becky and Flair, WWE could go a step further and turn Asuka into the vicious brawler she was during her run on NXT.

#3 Announce the New General Manager of Raw

The likes of Matt Hardy have already started lobbying to become the next GM of Raw, and if Strowman does win his match at TLC against Corbin, WWE should announce the new GM at TLC.

In previous years, WWE came up with innovative ideas to send off the heel authority figures, and WWE should once again do something similar. While Alexa Bliss is currently injured and has taken charge of the women's division, the creative should come up with an idea where Bliss makes a move and helps Strowman defeat Corbin at TLC.

The fact that Bliss and Strowman used to team up during the Mixed Match Challenge, and WWE even teased a romantic angle involving the two superstars, it could be used to explain Bliss turning on the man that gave her a position of power. WWE could even introduce Matt Hardy as the new GM at TLC, with the woken superstar deleting Corbin's tenure as Raw's GM.

#2 Book Finn Balor over Drew McIntyre

The first ever Universal champion is now nothing more than a mid card act that gets thrown into unimportant matches. WWE could change that status by booking Balor to go over McIntyre at TLC.

Balor is being groomed to become a future world champion, and getting a victory over Drew who looked like a million bucks against Strowman could prove to be the much-needed shot in the arm for Balor. Balor needs to get his mojo back, and that can happen, provided he picks up a win over Drew.

While Finn defeated Lashley a few weeks ago, he has once again been booked as a pushover who hasn't been able to hold his own against the other top stars. Balor is incredibly talented, and can prove to be a solid main eventer, but WWE needs to build him back up properly, and a win over McIntyre would be the ideal way to go about that.

#1 Daniel Bryan makes AJ Styles tap out

The WWE title will be defended at TLC as AJ Styles gets his rematch against Daniel Bryan. Bryan turned heel on SmackDown Live a couple of weeks ago, low blowing Styles and winning the WWE title.

However Styles had earlier defeated Bryan by making him submit to the calf crusher. It has been a long time since Styles was either pinned cleanly or was made to submit.

While Bryan's character is of a devious superstar who is an opportunist, WWE needs to build him strongly, and Bryan making Styles tap to the yes lock would certainly catch the fans off-guard.
