#3. Dexter Lumis defeated Trick Williams on WWE NXT

Trick Williams was set to face Dexter Lumis on WWE NXT. Williams did not seem very comfortable at the thought of facing The Tortured Artist. Meanwhile, an interaction between Diamond Mine and Carmelo Hayes angered Roderick Strong.

Williams made it to the ropes and Lumis unloaded on his opponent. Williams mounted a comeback, but Lumis was quick to take him down once again. Outside the ring, Strong and Melo started brawling. The two men fought their way backstage, leaving Williams to fight on his own.

He tried to bash his opponent with a shoe, but Lumis caught him. He slammed him to the mat and locked him in the Silence for the win.

It was good to see Lumis compete in the ring again and could soon enter a meaningful rivalry. It will be interesting to see how he handles his career after Johnny Gargano’s exit.

Meanwhile, the rivalry between Roderick Strong and Carmello Hayes will be fantastic. The two men will compete for title unification at NXT New Year’s Evil.
