#1 The New Day taught The Hurt Business a lesson on WWE RAW
The New Day went up against The Hurt Business in the final match of WWE RAW. MVP finally returned to the ring for the match after spending months out due to an injury.
MVP and Xavier Woods exchanged holds in the beginning before the trash-talking started. Woods targetted MVP’s previously injured leg to take control of the match.
But after Kofi Kingston and Bobby Lashley entered the ring, the action began to pick up. Lashley unloaded on his opponent for Money in the Bank with a few big shoulder thrusts.
Both teams kept trading control of the match to entertain the RAW fans. The Hurt Business isolated Woods for some time and nearly picked up the victory on a couple of occasions. Late in the match, MVP set up to hit Kofi with the Playmaker. However, the former WWE Champion countered with Trouble in Paradise for the win.
The match was entertaining and gave all four men a chance to show off their strengths. It was great to see MVP return to the ring. He did well in his role and took the pin as expected.
Kofi is again gaining a lot of momentum, and he could end up defeating The All Mighty at MITB. Meanwhile, Woods was great once again and built upon his own momentum with another top performance on RAW.
