#2. WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley turns on Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks and WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion, Bayley, had a chance to reclaim the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships from Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax this week.

Both women seemed ready for the challenge. The Golden Role Models came in with a better plan this time around to try to take the two dominant women out. However, the Champions used their power to dominate the challengers early on.

Later, Banks and Bayley worked together to eliminate Jax for some time and work on Baszler until Banks injured her knee after she missed a double-knee strike.

Baszler didn't miss the opportunity to target Banks’ knee. Afterward, Jax made it back into the contest and delivered a crossbody to both opponents to take the match and retain the titles.

After the match, Bayley snapped and attacked Banks relentlessly to make a big statement, possibly turning Banks babyface in the process.

While many in the WWE Universe expected The Boss to turn on Bayley and go for her SmackDown Women’s Championship, it’s interesting that the company went the other way around. Banks doesn't hold a title at the moment so she could make a good underdog in this storyline.
