#2. Cedric Alexander is getting a United States title shot

The former Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander had quite a busy night. He was scheduled to face AJ Styles in a non-title match and after 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin stunned him, Alexander came out to have the match.
It seemed like he would get sweet revenge, but a predictable interference from The OC prevented that from happening and Alexander would instead win by DQ. While that wouldn't be a direct way of getting a title shot, that wasn't the last time that he would get an opportunity in the night.
He was involved in a 10-man tag team match and after everybody but AJ Styles was cleared from the ring, he managed to land a Lumbar Check to pin the Phenomenal United States Champion.
It's evident that since AJ Styles was the only singles champion without a major match at Clash of Champions, they needed to add something in the last minute. There's no better way of doing that than by having the champion get pinned in a tag team match or non-title match in general.
Hopefully, the two will have a really good match at Clash of Champions.
