Seth Rollins faced off against Erick Rowan this week on RAW, ahead of Rollins' match against The Fiend this Thursday at Crown Jewel for the Universal title.

Rollins and Rowan faced off in falls count anywhere match, the same stipulation that will be in play in the match between Rollins and Bray Wyatt at Crown Jewel.

Look who just shut down all of Tony Khan's critics! More HERE.

On RAW, the Universal champion was booed by the crowd on a few occasions as the WWE Universe are seemingly still unhappy at Wyatt not winning the title off Rollins at Hell in a Cell, and the finish to that match.

The ending of the match against Rowan hinted at Rollins possibly turning heel. In the falls count anywhere match, the action moved to the backstage area where Rollins placed Rowan under a forklift and got the pinfall, which was a heel move.

Babyfaces don't win matches that way, and this could possibly be WWE's slow move towards a heel turn for Rollins.
