5 things WWE subtly told us on RAW: Heel turn, new Superstar to get pushed, Seth Rollins' big change

This week's WWE RAW, the go-home show for Crown Jewel, had a bit of everything - fantastic matches, absurd storylines, and potential feuds.

On the Red brand, we saw heel turns, a new tag team, and a future star in the making, while we also got a preview of the matches that would take place at Crown Jewel later this week.

Let's take a look at 5 things WWE subtly told us on RAW:

#5 Kabuki Warriors officially turn heel

The Kabuki Warriors, the team of Asuka and Kairi Sane, are the current Women's Tag Team champions, having defeated Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross at Hell in a Cell, earlier this month. They did so after Asuka used the green mist on Cross.

They had teased a heel turn back then with the use of the green mist, which Asuka employed once again. They have had heelish tendencies since then and it seems that the Japanese duo are officially heels now on WWE television.

The two Superstars were drafted to RAW during the WWE Draft earlier this year.

On this week's RAW, Paige returned to WWE television, hyping up the Kabuki Warriors, the team that she had introduced and managed after WrestleMania 35.

As Paige proceeded to speak about the Women's Tag Team champions and how she introduced them, the duo took turns to grab the mic from her and spoke something in Japanese, before Asuka used the green mist on Paige, which resulted in boos from the WWE Universe.

Sane then had a singles match against RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch, with Lynch winning the match. Following the match, Lynch offered a handshake but Sane declined it.

Kabuki Warriors' heel turn is complete, while Paige's time on television could also have come to an end.

#4 Humberto Carrillo to get a push

Over the last few years, WWE have pushed small, quick, and agile men on both RAW and SmackDown, moving away from the traditional big men, who were always at the top of the card.

And since Paul Heyman became Executive Director of RAW, we have seen more smaller Superstars getting pushed with the likes of Ricochet, Cedric Alexander, and Buddy Murphy pushed on RAW.

It seems that there's another agile and promising Superstar who could be pushed next - Humberto Carrillo. The Mexican Superstar, who signed with WWE last year, made his main roster debut last week against Universal Champion Seth Rollins. He put on a great match with Rollins and got an opportunity against current United States Champion AJ Styles this week.

Styles won the match, but Carrillo put on yet another good show.

This is quite the start for Carrillo, facing off against two of the best in the WWE, and two champions, in his first two matches on the main roster. It's quite certain that WWE are priming him for great things, and we could see him being pushed hard in the coming months.

#3 Charlotte Flair and Natalya to battle for Women's Tag Team titles soon

Natalya and Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair won her tenth Women's title at Hell in a Cell, defeating Bayley. But she lost the title back to Bayley a few days later on SmackDown, before being drafted to RAW during the WWE Draft.

Charlotte seemed to have mended fences with her old friend-turned-foe Becky Lynch, after the duo teamed up to face a common enemy in Bayley and Sasha Banks. And it seemed that she had turned babyface once again, but she dispelled those thoughts when she attacked Becky Lynch on RAW two weeks ago.

The two faced off in a singles match, with Becky triumphing against Charlotte once again.

This past week on RAW, Charlotte teamed up with Natalya to face off against The IIconics in a tag team match. The new tag team won the match and both seemed quite pleased about pairing up with each other. Charlotte may take a break from singles matches and possibly compete as a team with Natalya, with the duo eventually facing off against the Kabuki Warriors.

Charlotte and Natalya seem to be babyfaces, which would mean that a potential feud with the new heel Kabuki Warriors would be an interesting one.

#2 Hulk Hogan and Drew McIntyre to feud at Crown Jewel

Drew McIntyre faced off against Ricochet on RAW, in a precursor of what could happen at Crown Jewel when McIntyre represents Team Flair and Ricochet represents Team Hogan in a ten-man tag team match.

Hogan and Flair were ringside during the match, and the former was not impressed by the actions of McIntyre. McIntyre and Ricochet put on a good match, which ended when Randy Orton - part of Team Flair - RKO'd Ricochet. During the match, McIntyre came face-to-face with Hogan, after mocking the WWE Hall of Famer in the ring, imitating Hogan's trademark poses.

McIntyre also had a few words to say to Hogan following the match. This sets up a possible angle during the match at Crown Jewel where Hogan attacks McIntyre and helps his team secure the win.

Rusev, Ricochet, Roman Reigns, Ali, and Shorty G are part of Team Hogan, while Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Lashley, and King Corbin are part of Team Flair.

#1 Seth Rollins' potential heel turn

Seth Rollins faced off against Erick Rowan this week on RAW, ahead of Rollins' match against The Fiend this Thursday at Crown Jewel for the Universal title.

Rollins and Rowan faced off in falls count anywhere match, the same stipulation that will be in play in the match between Rollins and Bray Wyatt at Crown Jewel.

On RAW, the Universal champion was booed by the crowd on a few occasions as the WWE Universe are seemingly still unhappy at Wyatt not winning the title off Rollins at Hell in a Cell, and the finish to that match.

The ending of the match against Rowan hinted at Rollins possibly turning heel. In the falls count anywhere match, the action moved to the backstage area where Rollins placed Rowan under a forklift and got the pinfall, which was a heel move.

Babyfaces don't win matches that way, and this could possibly be WWE's slow move towards a heel turn for Rollins.
