While the match for SummerSlam 2020 was initially scheduled to be a hair vs hair match, things changed after the weekend where Sonya Deville's house was broken into and the scary incident occurred. While we can't say for sure whether it had to do with her departure, the reality is that her WWE career ended at SummerSlam 2020.

It's a real shame since Sonya Deville started to find her momentum lately - taking all the necessary measures to take a step up the card. She's even been better than Mandy Rose, who ultimately ended up defeating her at SummerSlam 2020.

The only issue with the match at SummerSlam 2020 was the fact that it wasn't intense enough to warrant the No Disqualification stipulation that it had attached to it. Either way, Mandy Rose ended up winning clean and this could either mean an extended hiatus for Sonya Deville or the legitimate end of her WWE career.
