#3 Fans outside of the arena were not happy with the main event finish
Immediately following the WWE Hell in a Cell PPV, rumors began spreading that fans were "rioting" outside of the arena due to the main event match finish, but that is completely untrue. Fans were not hostile nor rioting after the show, but they were certainly disappointed.
As seen in the video below, one fan outside of the arena following the PPV decided to take his frustration out on his replica WWE title belt, slamming it on the ground in anger.
It will be interesting to see how WWE handles the PPV criticism on Raw tonight, as it was reported earlier on the site that Vince McMahon himself recognized that he made a mistake when booking the finish of the main event.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, the finish of the PPV main event was “completely Vince McMahon’s call”, and Vince's “sight and vision played out how he wanted it”.
After witnessing the live crowd's reaction to the main event, however, Vince McMahon reportedly knew he’d messed up, and apparently recognized the mistake he made with the match finish booking.
Will WWE attempt to recover on RAW tonight? We will find out.
