It was a chaotic ordeal for Team SmackDown as Team Raw meticulously carried out their attack. Kurt Angle sent his troops in portions to nullify every counter-attack which spoke volumes about his leadership skills as the team captain.

However, there are few points which you don’t want to miss from this brawl.

#1. Brothers don’t fight

The Usos naturally retaliated when the Shield were seen thrashing the New Day. Interestingly, there was a split-second hesitation from Roman Reigns as well as from the Samoan twins when the cousins faced off against each other.

Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose didn’t let us savour the moment as they quickly took down the SmackDown Tag Team Champions. However, this could be a major angle for WWE in future.

A Samoan faction is something we're sure WWE will look into the near future.

#2. Crowd support

Last Tuesday, the hometown crowd was definitely in the corner of Team below. The fans in attendance were heard loud and clear twice during the main event meltdown.

Both times, it was in support of a SmackDown Live superstar who was trying to get back up after being beaten down by the counterparts in red.

Firstly, loud chants were heard when Charlotte Flair was assaulted in the Women’s locker room. It took a fatal blow from her adversary Alexa Bliss to finally knock her down.

Later, the crowd erupted again when Shane McMahon refused to give up after a Triple Power Bomb followed by an Angle Slam. The Shield delivered one more Triple Power Bomb to the resilient SD Live Commissioner. However, Shane McMahon still wasn't flat on his back when the cameras stopped rolling.

#3. Missing trio

These three are headlining WWE from last ten years
The trio collectively have 43 World Championships.

Given WrestleMania 34 is in proximity, the presence of this legendary trio increases the eyes on the product.

The three top faces who headlined Wrestle Mania 24 ten years ago, will do it again this Sunday, but were surprisingly conspicuous by their absence when their brands needs them the most.

In all honesty, the fans at least expected the Viper to hold ground for his home team. The thirteen-time world champion has been the survivor of his team in all of nine appearances as a participant at the Survivor Series elimination match. Undoubtedly, he will be the marquee player for SmackDown Live.

#4. The momentum paradox

Team Raw stood tall last Tuesday on Smack Down

For as long as we have known WWE, the team with the momentum going into Survivor Series have rarely won.

Team Raw seems to be on top going into the PPV, however, this silently suggests that they might end up with a sour taste in their mouths come this Sunday.

Earlier this week, John Cena teased WWE Universe with his weightlifting video. The leader of Cenation could prove to be the equalizing factor for Braun Strowman, who is the powerhouse for Raw.

That will be one heck of a showdown!

#5. Prediction and aftermath

Triple H pedigreed his way to Team Raw and this has nothing but intuited the WWE Universe to expect a heel turn from Jason Jordon.

He can cost his father Kurt Angle not only the match but also his job as the General Manager of Raw. This could possibly fuel a classic father-son programme going forward. Die-hard fans also hope this angle leads to Triple H eventually facing Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 34.

Bonus

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn left their colleagues high and dry on SmackDown, which could result in an interference and Shane McMahon firing both the superstars. The best friends could appear on Raw to weave new storylines after Survivor Series for all we know.

For now, let's wait for could be the PPV of the year!
