WWE Monday Night Raw: 5 things you need to know before tonight's show (July 15th 2019)

#4: Maverick's historic reign continues

Maverick is hoping to survive tonight stil 24/7 Champion, much to the ire of wife Renee.

The WWE 24/7 Championship may be the newest title in town, but it has quickly become one of the most entertaining aspects of the entire company. The title, which must be defended at all times, is currently held by Drake Maverick, a two-time champion who last week became the longest-reigning 24/7 Champion in the title's (albeit) brief history.

Followed by his long-suffering wife, Renee Michelle, the champ has somehow been able to keep the title despite proudly wearing it wherever he goes. That doesn't mean Maverick's reign has been easy, as he has continuously been targeted by a gang of Superstars, including former champion R-Truth (who hilariously refers to Maverick as "Hornswoggle"). It'll be interesting to see whether the British Superstar is able to escape Monday Night RAW tonight with the title, or if it's time for a change.
