Jey Uso and Roman Reigns battled in the first-ever 'I Quit' WWE Hell in a Cell match in 2020, where the Universal Championship was on the line.

As expected in their storyline, Reigns viciously assaulted his own cousin during their Hell in a Cell clash. The Tribal Chief dominated Jey Uso to a point where the latter star became seemingly unconscious as a result of Reigns' relentless in-ring attitude.

Adam Pearce and a few other WWE officials implored Reigns to back down. However, the Universal Champion still demanded Jey Uso to acknowledge him as The Tribal Chief.

Jey Uso's twin brother, Jimmy Uso, eventually came out when Reigns was about to hit his opponent with the steel steps. Jimmy Uso did not pose a physical threat to The Tribal Chief, but he begged Reigns to stop the relentless assault at once.

Reigns showcased his acting chops soon after, showing a hint of remorsefulness from his side. However, The Tribal Chief managed to use this interruption to his advantage by putting Jimmy Uso in a guillotine choke.

This forced Jey Uso to finally say 'I Quit' so that Reigns would not inflict any further damage on the tag team star's twin brother.

This particular WWE interruption is somewhat unique, as the odds were never stacked against the character - Roman Reigns - who was being interrupted by everyone throughout the match.
