Drew McIntyre won the WWE Men's Royal Rumble Match in 2020, and he chose to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36. The Scottish Psychopath eliminated The Beast Incarnate from the Royal Rumble Match before he took Lesnar's WWE Championship at the biggest show of the year.

McIntyre learned that he was the first Scottish star to win the battle royal in a backstage interview after the match. He became emotional when he dedicated the career-defining victory to his wife.

McIntyre had worked almost two decades in the business in order to enjoy this win at the Royal Rumble. But his WrestleMania moment in front of a live crowd was taken away when the COVID-19 outbreak turned the industry upside down.

The now two-time former WWE Champion is hoping that he will be able to recreate this moment at WrestleMania 37 in April.

But his road to WrestleMania is unclear. The Miz won the WWE Championship when he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. As a result, rather than having a guaranteed title shot, McIntyre will have to fight for one.
