#4 CM Punk on WWE RAW

Did CM Punk make the right decision to give it back to the nagging fan?

It's one thing to be a fan of a WWE Superstar, but a completely different thing to not respect their boundaries.

It goes without saying that CM Punk was a fan-favorite, no matter which city he went to during his WWE run. However, on the October 8th, 2012 edition of RAW, the Straight-Edge Superstar encountered someone who wasn't exactly a big fan of his.

The aforementioned show featured CM Punk vs. WWE Chairman Vince McMahon as the main event. The segment ended with Punk escaping through the crowd. As the then-WWE Champion was listening to Mr. McMahon cut a promo on him from the ring, he was continuously being hit and tagged from behind by a couple of fans.

This resulted in CM Punk losing his cool on the spot. Not only did he shove one of the accused fans down, but he also proceeded to punch him in the face. Addressing the unfortunate nature of the incident, the Second-City Saint has since apologised.

"I got hit in the ribs three times. I was getting shoved and I was getting punched. … Then I started getting tagged in the back of the head. Unfortunately, I lashed out in the heat of the moment and I apologize.”

There wasn't any major heat on CM Punk following the incident and he continued to reign as the WWE Champion for three more months.
