With all due respect to John Cena and Randy Orton, they could have an entire article dedicated to them about “Boring!” chants that were directed their way by the WWE Universe.

WWE fans’ frustrations with the two Superstars is best summed up by their WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at the 2014 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

Two months earlier, then-WWE Champion Orton received the dreaded “Boring!” treatment during his WWE Survivor Series main event against The Big Show. Following the match, Cena appeared and held up his World Heavyweight Championship.

This led to a two-month rivalry between the two men, including a title unification match at WWE TLC 2013, which Orton won.

Unfortunately, the entire rematch at the Royal Rumble was hijacked by irrelevant and derogatory chants by the crowd.

The first four minutes were dominated by chants of “Daniel Bryan!”, “Yes!”, “Randy Savage!”, “Y2J!”, and “Under-Taker!”, and then the WWE Universe began with the slow “Bore-riiiing!” chants.

Orton won the match after interference from The Wyatt Family, but it was the Pittsburgh fans who made the biggest impression.
