5 top moments from the iconic Gauntlet match on Raw

This was a match of many remarkable moments.

Monday night produced one of the best matches on Raw in more than a decade as all the seven participants from the men's Elimination Chamber match competed against each other in a Gauntlet match.

A star-studded match like this one is bound to have unforgettable moments. Here are the top 5:

#1 Rollins could have been injured

This could have been crucial ahead of the Elimination Chamber PPV.

A running dropkick on the apron in one of the many signature moves of Roman Reigns. However, Seth Rollins was seen in a rather awkward position last Monday while being at the receiving end of it.

As a result, Rollins got kicked right in his head. This could have resulted in a concussion.

Notably, Rollins went on to compete for remarkable 65 minutes in the match before getting eliminated by Elias. This was indeed one of the best and the longest performance by a WWE Superstar.

Interestingly, Seth Rollins spent more time in this match than the longest Royal Rumble performance ever (62 minutes by Rey Mysterio).

#2 John Cena stuns Seth Rollins

This was unexpected.
This was unexpected!

During the match, the sixteen time World champion raised the "Kingslayer" on his shoulders. The WWE Universe anticipated an Attitude Adjustment from John Cena.

However, John Cena tossed up Seth Rollins and delivered a Stunner. The people in attendance gasped in surprise as Cena covered Rollins for the pinfall.

We have seen John Cena delivering a springboard stunner a couple of times over the last few years against the likes of Wade Barrett, Cody Rhodes, and Rusev.

Notably, Steve Austin mentioned in one of his interviews that the Stunner could have been used in a much better way at WrestleMania (Cena vs. Rusev) instead of getting used just as a setup.

#3 Rollins AAs John Cena

No one saw this coming.
No one saw this coming.

Speaking of using another wrestler's move, Seth Rollins wasn't far behind. The Superstar's move he used on John Cena was none other than John Cena's himself.

During the match, John Cena went to the top rope and delivered a cross body slam to Seth Rollins. However, Rollins rolled over and raised John Cena above his shoulders. Not only this, he delivered an Attitude Adjustment to the sixteen times World champion.

Had it been a successful pinfall, it would have been a rather ironic way to pin John Cena.

#4 Braun Strowman outran the Miz

Miz ran for his life, but alas!
Miz ran for his life, but alas!

Miz will be the first man in the Elimination Chamber match on Sunday, but last Monday he was stuck with Braun Strowman as the "Monster Among Men" was the last man to enter the gauntlet match.

Being as smart as the Miz has always been, he ran away from the ring trying to escape from facing the 385-pound monster. However, Braun Strowman had other plans.

The bearded monster outran the Intercontinental Champion and dragged him back to the ring. This was a moment of happy surprise as seeing Strowman run was like seeing a bullet train running at its full speed.

No one expected that Strowman would run so fast.

#5 Miz delivered Skull Crushing Finale to Strowman

The size difference is HUGE!
The size difference is HUGE!

This was the only bright moment for The Miz in his match against Braun Strowman last week on Raw.

No matter how much of a beat down he took from Strowman, nobody can take away from him that he was able to pull off a Skull Crushing Finale on Braun Strowman.

Although, Strowman kicked out with sheer force, which resulted in Miz going flying between the ropes taking the Miztourage down to the ground with him.

Arguably, this was one of the best matches on Raw with the entire main event roster coming to play in a single match rather than the old-fashioned tag match.
