Eva Marie defeated Bayley

Eva Marie and Bayley are no strangers to one another. They had a heated rivalry over the NXT Women's Championship, which The Role Model held, in 2015.

The two superstars squared off ten times on NXT. Bayley emerged victorious in nine bouts but tasted defeat in one match. Bayley's loss against Eva Marie came in a tag team match where she teamed with Carmella to take on The Red Queen and Nia Jax.

Eva Marie and Bayley reignited their feud immediately following The Red Queen's return. Eva Marie referred to herself as a "super role model" in a video package that aired on Monday Night RAW.

Bayley, who is known as The Role Model, was quick to respond. She suggested the returning superstar call herself "Super Dumb" instead. Eva Marie replied with a tweet saying:

"Silly, DING-DONG, Don’t be upset that the student has become the master. Sincerely your SUPER Role Model."

Bayley also shared her thoughts on Eva Marie's return in an interview with Sportskeeda's Rick Ucchino:

"We have a past, we have a history, I've wrestled Eva Marie so many times, and I've actually had a lot of fun with her, she's one of my favorite people to be in the ring with. But that don't mean I'm gonna let you come in here and try to be the role model of WWE because there's only one! There's THE one, and it's Bayley."
