Back in mid-2019, Becky Lynch engaged in a heated feud with WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix. While Lynch was feuding with Beth's husband and fellow WWE Hall of Famer Edge on Twitter, Lynch called Phoenix out and indicated that she is a horrible commentator. Phoenix fired back and stated that she will keep getting better at commentary, while Lynch will never be able to lace her boots.

👏👏👏 @BeckyLynchWWE ! Except.... I’ll keep improving at commentary...while you will never be able to lace my boots.
The feud lasted for days on end, with Lynch bringing up Edge's past and his relationship with former WWE Women's Champion Lita. Lynch even went as far as dubbing Edge as someone who's "made of glass".
During the feud, Lynch confirmed her relationship with fellow Superstar Seth Rollins. Hours later, Rollins confirmed Lynch's comments by posting a heartfelt photo on his official Instagram handle.
Phoenix was a part of a Fatal 4-Way Women's Tag Team title match at WrestleMania 35 and competed in this year's Women's Royal Rumble. But, we never got to witness the much-anticipated matchup pitting Phoenix against The Man.

He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
