#3 Bobby Roode competed in a title match
The Glorious One Bobby Roode has been in a title feud on both the Fastlane pay-per-views that he has competed in. On the 2018 show, Roode defended his United States Championship against Randy Orton in a singles match. The former NXT champion lost his title after Randy pinned him after an RKO.
This year, Roode teamed up with Chad Gable to challenge for the Raw Tag Team Championships. This was a triple threat match also featuring champions The Revival and the NXT tag team of Ricochet and Aleister Black. The Revival retained the tag team championships after pinning Chad Gable.
All the three teams got physical after the match ended as Aleister Black and Ricochet stood tall in the end. Roode, despite being in title matches, could not walk into WrestleMania as a champion.
