Dolph Ziggler has a tendency, as mentioned earlier, to become stagnant in his character. He has never really managed to stay over for long periods of time, even his push in 2011 ended with him suffering an unfortunate injury.

Ziggler stayed a face for a long time, before finally turning heel in early 2017. His heel turn at the time looked promising, as segments with Jerry Lawler and some good promos looked promising. However, Ziggler being paired up in irrelevant feuds led to a blockbuster failure of the much-hyped heel turn.

Ziggler was one of the best babyfaces on the roster during a tremendous time for him in 2014. He has all the tools to play a brilliant underdog babyface.
