Imagine Nia Jax being forced to put her number one contendership on the line and then lose it to another Superstar! While it is not known if this will be WWE's direction with Jax moving forward or not, it would be a great way to instantly take her out of the title picture and put one of Raw's budding stars in her place.

With that in mind and the devastating effects that Nia Jax's errant punch has had on the company's bottom line, this punishment is a very practical and suitable one given what has happened. Furthermore, it gives another star a chance to shine, which is something WWE should have really considered in the first place before giving Jax another title shot.

In the end, Jax doesn't belong in the number one contender's spot after what she did to Becky Lynch and WWE should make the change as soon as possible. Having it be a squash match is only an icing on the cake after Jax cost The WWE Universe a chance at seeing the match of a lifetime and could go a long way in making up for what happened.
